LOOK IN THE SKY! IT'S A BIRD! IT'S A PLANE! NO, IT'S CYBERTRON!

Do you believe in miracles? Well, since yesterday, I do. My mom actually granted me permission to watch the mid-night screening of  Transformers: Dark of The Moon (aka Transformers 3) with my cuzzies, on a SCHOOL NIGHT! It was well worth a highly sleep deprived day.

Transformers 3 was a great movie. It was trailing with suspense and jammed packed with action, all in super high definition along with all its glory, really keeps you at the edge of your seat. Graphical details were so intensely taken into consideration that it was almost visually flawless. The slow-motion scenes that might seem overused really allowed the audience to hone-in on the eye-popping visuals, I can't imagine watching it in 3D.

The story-line was also really strong with little plot-holes as compared with the last movie. Dark of The Moon centers around a fictional conspiracy theory, that the space race back in the 1960s was actually a response to a downed Autobot ship, The Ark, which crash landed on the moon. The Apollo 11 mission wasn't just about getting to the moon before the Soviets, instead it was secret mission by the US government to investigate The Ark. At present day, when a piece of Transformers machinery hints at the location of The Ark, the Autobots and their human allies raced to moon to recover it, only to be caught in a Decepticon trap that could annihilate the Autobots and the entire human race. The plot serves not only as a backdrop for the set pieces, this time, it actually added on to the onscreen action. I have to say though, the movie run time was a little long, feels like they're dragging time with some unnecessary scenes. Of course I wouldn't mind the extra action if I didn't have to go to school the next morning.

The characters of the movie played along really well and contributed a lot to the movie's success. Rosie-Huntington-Whitely who replaced Megan Fox in the movie as Sam's girlfriend is a welcome improvement, not bad for a 1st timer. Also, some Transformers like Sound Wave that were short shrift in Revenge of The Fallen were featured more prominently in this movie. Dark of The Moon introduced some new bots too like Optimus' predecessor, Sentinal Prime and if you watch the animated Transformers Series, the famous Decepticon, Shock Wave, which was, for me, the coolest robot in the movie.

All in all, Dark of The Moon is an awesome movie and very well deserves a top spot in the box office charts. I give it a 10/10 for having an interesting and original plot, superb visual effects and good acting. It's definitely a must watch movie for action enthusiasts. Bay successfully ended the thrilling trilogy with a BANG!
