Flip! It's August already, where did all our time go? Before you know it, we'll be graduating. Scary huh? You know, the whole notion of growing up.
Anyways,
GREETINGS, MY BEAUTIFUL READERS!
I guess I haven't been up to blogging lately because
1. My inspiration reservoir is dry,
2. I like to make every blog post special,
3. I'm lazy.
Nuff said.
I seriously can't think of an interesting topic to ponder on at the moment, so let's recap happenings from the past few weeks.
I lost a bet with a friend for one, an exam bet to be exact, a History exam bet to even more exact. Secretly, I'm overjoyed because the results were so close and he's like the smartest kid in school. But being surrounded by discontented high achievers whose marks put mine to shame, I can't possibly reveal how I really feel. On the not so bright side though, I have to treat my betting partner to dinner, so hopefully my pocket is big enough to feed his appetite.
On a different note, I skipped school to go on this little family retreat that we planned months before. It's rare that the workaholic(referring to mom) agreed to this so, I'd be a total killjoy if I didn't tag along, I mean it's a FAMILY vacation after all. Of the things we did, the most vivid moments(well to me at least) were breakfast, lunch and dinner. Don't be fooled by my skinny appearance, I'm a BEAST when it comes to food, in fact, I'm even thinking of starting a food blog after my exams. Coming back. I was really disappointed because we didn't get to eat at Sushi Zanmai. The crowd was just overwhelming at The Gardens and the queue took forever. Alas, owing to the lack of time, we decided NOT TO WAIT. Well at least I had some other "best ever-s". To name a few, dim sum at Intercontinental KL, which was just amazing and a taste buds titillating 7 course dinner at my cuzzie's restaurant. Foodgasm!

Also, we did some shopping as there was this on going city-wide sale. The price tags were much eye-friendlier I must say. Did some pretty productive shopping myself, which almost never happens. I despise shopping(except for the part where I get new things). It hurts my feet, not to mention my pocket, I'd very much rather eat.
Right. So here are some of things I got.
Speaking of pocket hurting, our club's installation of the new gen BODs is coming up(next Sat)! Of course, being an Interactor/former BOD, my attendance was mandatory. In other words, I'll be RM35 poorer really soon. If everything goes well, I might be doing a musical performance with my friends that night. We were thinking of covering Paramore's 'Decode' but it's a really tricky song and takes perfect harmony between both the singer and the instrumentalists. Practice starts this weekend so we'll see.

Amidst all of this, I have to balance everything with revisions. SPM trials is in a month and I'm not even close to being prepared. On top of that, I have an accounts folio which I have yet worked on due next week. I'm trembling as I type this sentence. Well, it all comes down to this old saying, "action speaks louder than words." I should probably get back to my studies now. Do look out for next week's post regarding the installation I was talking about if you're interested! Keep posted!
